カジノのスモークフリーも進んでいるという、お知らせです。ところで、日本のパチンコ屋では、どうなっているのでしょうか？一説には、来店客の喫煙率は、５割を超えるとか。パチンコに興味がない人にとっては直接的には無関係ですし、来店客は分煙施策で多少は救済されるかもしれませんが、授業員や取引先の人たちは、気の毒にも、受動喫煙被害者のままです。飲食店はじめとする公共スペースに関する受動喫煙の議論には、こういった声を出しずらい被害者への視点が、圧倒的に欠落しています。(written by JIMA)

We visited the MGM National Harbor last Thursday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised at how many people were playing at the machines and tables, in one of the many restaurants, or listening to live music on one of the outdoor patios.
